Questions We Hear Every Day
Most patients are surprised by how comfortable treatment is. We fully numb the area and offer sedation for deeper relaxation. Mild soreness afterward is usually manageable with over-the-counter medication and improves within a few days.
With good oral hygiene and regular professional care, the implant itself can last decades, and often a lifetime. The visible crown may need replacement after normal wear, just as other dental restorations do.
That does not automatically rule you out. A 3D scan shows us exactly what bone is available. Bone grafting, specialized implant angles, or alternative implant sizes can often create a safe, predictable solution.
Many people with well-managed diabetes are excellent implant candidates. We review your health history and may coordinate with your physician so healing and blood sugar are carefully supported throughout treatment.
You can eat soft foods soon after surgery. We gradually expand your diet as healing progresses. With same-day temporary teeth, you will still follow a softer diet at first to protect the implants while they bond with the bone.
